Job Purpose   

This programme aims for proper placement of agriculture student internships who require Work Integrated Learning (WIL) to complete their qualifications.

 

Minimum Requirements        

1. You desire an opportunity to gain practical work experience.

2. You are a South African citizen and completed grade 12 in the Western Cape.

3. Youth (18 - 35) may apply for the Student Internships.

4. Persons with a disability are encouraged to apply.

5. Student intern applications must be accompanied by a letter from the Institution of Higher Learning indicating the required WIL period.

6. Applicants must be entering an internship/developmental programme in government for the first time.

 

Recommendation      

You are financially constrained and you have no network or support to help you make career choices.

Skills needed:  

1. Good communication (writtenand verbal) skills in at least two of the official languages of the Western Cape;

Remuneration
              

The appointed interns will receive a monthly stipend of between R5 639.64 - R6 659.36

 

Notes 

1. Preference will be given to the students from Colleges of Agriculture.
